description

Horsham District Council (the Council) invites tenders from planning consultants to assist with the preparation of Neighbourhood Development plans within the Horsham District. The intention is that the appointed consultant will provide a key point of liaison for the community when they are progressing their plan, and on submission of Neighbourhood Plans to Horsham District Council, progressing the plans through the necessary next steps, including summarising representations, appointing examiners and providing advice to communities on receipt of an Examiner's report.

The duration of the Contract is expected to be for around one year. However, this is dependent to some extent on the time that plans take to be prepared by local communities and then progress through Examination. It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 06 January 2020.

The Council is procuring this contract following the Open Procedure under the UK Public Contract Regulations 2015 and the Council's Procurement Code. The Council will be awarding one Contract for the provision of all services detailed in the Specification.
