TC443/LC - Boating Lake, Transport and Helium Ballons at Heaton Park

The contract is divided into 3 lots to provide the following at Heaton Park.

Lot1Boating Lake -The City Council through an external operator currently provides a ?boats for hire? attraction at the boating lake at Heaton Park and is seeking to continue and/or extend this facility in the future.

Lot 2 Transport - The City Council requires the provision of transport as an attraction in the Park, as a novelty means of transport and for members of the public to access the wider areas of the park. It is of particular importance that this facility be available and accessible to all sectors of the public, including families with young children, the elderly and people with disabilities.

Lot 3 Helium Balloons - The City Council wishes to offer the opportunity for helium balloon sales within Heaton Park.

Companies may bid for 1 or more Lots

The Council is using the e-business portal known as THE CHEST www.the-chest.org.uk to conduct the procurement exercise. To gain access to the invitation to tender documents, tenderers will need to register their company details at the above website.

Once registered, tenderers will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the invitation to tender documents.

Tenderers will need to electronically submit their completed tender and accompanying documentation via the CHEST on-line portal by 17.00 hours on the 23.12.2015 Any supplier questions queries will also need to be submitted via THE CHEST website.
