description
NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG and NHS Vale of York CCG wish to engage with the market for the provision of Community Podiatry Services. NHS Harrogate and Rural District CCG reserve the right to join the procurement at a later date. Engagement with the market will be via a Request for Information (RFI). The RFI is designed for the purpose of developing the service specification, assessing market capacity and informing the procurement strategy.
Subject to the outputs of the intelligence gathered via the RFI process and commissioner agreement, it is anticipated that a formal procurement exercise will be undertaken jointly by both commissioners. It is envisaged that the procurement will commence late September 2016, with the award made in January 2017. New services will be required to commence on the 1st May 2017.
The RFI exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise only. The RFI Returns should be submitted no later than 5th September 2016
Please note that NHS Scarborough and Ryedale CCG have previously advertised their intentions to procure these services. This new advert and second engagement opportunity is designed to explore the market further and highlight that NHS Vale of York CCG may also be a commissioning partner in any future procurement exercise.
Additional information: About the commissioners
