2015 - 345 Evaluation of the Group Health & Safety Standards and Inspection of the Construction Sites

WMHG is going out for tender for the Evaluation of the Group Health & Safety standards and Inspections for compliance across all construction sites.

It has committed to undertake multi million pound refurbishment contracts across its stock of 30,000.

The site of the proposed works is situated predominantly within the Coventry City and surrounding West Midlands. however; the purchaser may require the service provider to carry out inspections at sites where the purchaser has a contractual obligation or stake.

The service provider should note that the buildings will be in constant use during the construction process by residents, visitors and members of the public. Consideration should be extended to ensure safe access and egress at all times.

WMHG experience in the residential sector range from one off investment developments to repeat construction phases across Coventry and its outlying districts. Projects have been as diverse as, small one of houses to multi million pounds high-rise developments as part of the city centre regeneration projects.

WMHG by introducing a site safety inspection service ensures that the latest health and safety regulations are adhered to, by setting and maintaining consistently high standards on its building sites. As part of this process, we will expect you to be proactively monitoring compliance and engaging with site personnel to influence a positive health and safety culture. This service enables us to monitor the contractor’s sites to achieve health and safety excellence.
