'Inside Out' - Intensive Coaching Service for Children in Care

Inside Out is an innovative approach to improving outcomes and stability for young people in care. At the core of the programme is an intensive coaching approach that supports young people facing multiple issues in their lives to move successfully to less intensive support and care or where appropriate return home. Ultimately young people are supported the skills and confidence towards independence.

This programme is currently provided by the Department for Education and a partnership between Essex, Hertfordshire and Norfolk Councils and the current delivery partner have delivered a successful pilot programme across the three counties.

Following a favourable independent evaluation a decision made by the three local authorities, subject to governance, to mainstream this offer for young people and commission as part of their core service offer.
