Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is seeking an experienced contractor to redevelop the Market Place in Hatfield. The scheme includes:
- oImprove general access and layout by looking at the removal of level change, steps and railings
- oImprove lighting and surfacing and offer new seating opportunities to make the space more inviting
- oOffer a diverse range of play and leisure equipment, catering for different age groups
- oProvide inclusive play, tactile surfaces and leisure options
- oUpgrade quality and location of vegetation, introduce more biodiversity and seasonal interest, whilst retaining the existing trees that give value to the space
