GB-Manchester: Insurance and related services to Income Protection Covers of Jigsaw Homes

Jigsaw Homes Group and its subsidiary organisations (Jigsaw) invites proposals from brokers to provide insurance services in relation to Income Protection Insurance covers, and responses are now being sought from suitably experienced insurance services providers.

Insurance services may involve insurance broking, insurance underwriting or a combination of both. The term is intended to include the arrangement, placing and administration of insurance policies, as well as claims settlement and administration, risk management services and any other insurance related services. It is the intention of Jigsaw to retain insurance service providers for a period of Three years (or periods of insurance), subject to satisfactory annual reviews of service and performance. The term will commence on 1st April 2022. At the discretion of Jigsaw, and subject to satisfactory service cost and performance, this initial period may be extended for a further two years (or periods of insurance).

Jigsaw Homes Group Ltd is looking to appoint a broker in the first instance to conduct a thorough re-appraisal of the Income Protection Insurances, test the market, make recommendations and place & manage the insurances thereafter.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
