NHS England Midlands and East (East) (the Contracting Authority) is seeking to identify suitable providers of Primary Care GP Caretaking Services to undertake a GP caretaking contract in Peterborough for Dogsthorpe Medical Centre and Burghley Road (branch site).
The contract let as a result of this procurement will have an initial duration of one year (12 months) followed by an optional extension period of 0.5 years (6 months). Therefore if all extension options are used, the maximum (extended) contract period will be 1.5 years (18 months).
The required start date for the new services is 1st October 2016.
All submissions will be evaluated using the scoring criteria which is contained within the published tender documentation.

The deadline for clarification questions to be received on the procurement portal, Bravo, is 22nd August 2016 at 12:00 (noon).

There is a financial threshold applicable to the procurement. Bids above £125.00 per patient will not be accepted.

The estimated maximum value of the contract (including available extensions) is £1,065,000 (ex VAT). The final contract value may be lower than this figure and will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, bid price and the successful provider’s subsequent contract performance and activity against the contract.
