Conservation of eight major pieces of artwork of national significance.
| * | All require examination, but required work could include: |
| • | Onsite visit to inspect artwork (Essential prior to quotes being submitted) |
| • | Surface cleaning to remove ingrained dirt. |
| • | Removal of patchy varnish and poor-quality retouching |
| • | Removal of heavy, glossy varnish. |
| • | Make good old repair works. |
| • | Removal of leaching and treatment in those areas, followed by retouching previous damage as necessary. |
| • | May require varnishing with a non-yellowing varnish for future protection. |
| • | Each frame will require cleaning. |
| • | Some frames will require replacement of lost plaster work. |
| • | Canvas retention. |
Important note: We will only be accepting proposals from providers who are registered with "Icon" - Conservation Register

Once this is complete, quotes can be emailed along with a covering letter detailing previous experience on this nature of work and any qualifications and relevant accreditations.
