Expression of Interest - Refurbishment Works to the Basement of Banbury Town Hall

Expression of Interest to be received from those suitably qualified to participate, to be received by 17.00 on 18th December 2015, for works comprising of the overhaul of the basement to enable new uses, including the stripping out of redundant M&E services, opening up and widening of doorways including associated masonry infill, specialist cleaning of historic brickwork of paint finishes, together with the upgrading of the ground floor east porch and staircase finishes and fittings for event receptions and local glazing improvements.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, following expressions of interest and the completion of a pre qualification questionnaire and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. The Contractor must be CITB registered, have experience of working on historic buildings listed on the Historic England database of The National Heritage List for England and must have extensive and recent experience in the conservation of historic buildings and particularly the conservation and cleaning of historic masonry and brickwork.
