description

Plymouth City Council and partner organisation consideration of Local Full Fibre Networks Project is a third wave exemplar project for the Full Fibre Network Programme (LFFN) operated by the Broadband Development UK (BDUK) programme within the Department for Digital, Media, Culture and Sport (DCMS) and any resulting procurement would be part funded by DCMS.

This Soft Market Exercise is to help inform the partner organisations on how to shape any resulting tender to attract interest from suitable suppliers and secondly help inform the best route to market (e.g. formal Official Journal of the European Union - OJEU tender; Competition via an established framework or alternative options).

Suppliers interested in this opportunity should visit www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk for more information. The deadline to submit proposals is 23:59 on 1st April 2019.

The provisional placeholder for the follow up supplier session is on the 10 April in Plymouth City Centre but this will be confirmed nearer the time and will be subject to a further update accompanying the PIN itself.
