Halling Primary School - Flat Roofing

Medway Council ('the Council') is seeking to procure the services of an experienced and suitably qualified Contractor to undertake the Replacement of flat roof coverings and repairs to the immediate surrounding pitched roof of Halling Primary School. The Council is targeting to have awarded the contract no later than 17.02.2017 with a subsequent commencement date of 01.03.2017. The estimated value of the whole works is approximately £110K. The estimated Contract period will be for 6 Weeks. The scope of works for this project includes but not limited to project managing the: Replacement flat roof coverings and repairs to the immediate surrounding pitched roof, To provide a new IKO/Equivalent specification insulated warm roof system by means of removing the existing roof lights and setting aside for later use, Stripping back all existing roof covering, insulation and 6mm plylock boards and disposing off old materials, Provide a new 19mm decking and specified insulated roof system. Reset AC units, roof lights, gutters, inlet pipes (IKO 3.2mm refurbishment outlets/Equivalent), for upstands and skirts etc. to form a waterproof flat roof system For detailed information about the description of scope of works, specification and pricing please refer to Specification & Scope of Works document and Price List document respectively.
