The Council is seeking to appoint a suitable provider to work collaboratively with Bedford Borough Children's Services and partners to provide a structured and supported volunteer outreach service that works as a cohesive part of the Early Help Offer providing a range of social and welfare related outcomes for families.
The service will provide support for families within the Early Help Service, which include:
The engagement of parents to challenge social isolation and anxiety to help build self- confidence The promotion of confident and positive parenting, including signposting to parenting groups and support The provision of access to high quality family learning opportunities
The promotion of life skills and self-esteem
The engagement of parents to help prevent family breakdown
