description
The Council is committed to providing Domestic Abuse and VAWG Support as a part of the new VCSE recommissioning in Kingston. VAWG is a priority for the Safer Kingston Partnership. The new contracts; Domestic Abuse Refuge Accommodations as well as Domestic Abuse and VAWG Community Outreach Service are expected to deliver vital front-line services. The successful provider will be required to have a role as the Council's trusted partner, working in close partnership with the council's community safety team and a range of statutory and community sector partners.
The council is reviewing the current service provision for Domestic Abuse Refuge Accommodations and Domestic Abuse and VAWG Community Outreach Service and will be taking a codesign approach in designing the service specifications. The Council has already engaged with survivors to co-produce the specifications and outcomes.
