Quotation for Surveying of Existing Grit Bins

Sandwell has in place over 570 grit bins for use on the carriageway during the winter season, unfortunately these are sometimes moved unknowingly from the agreed position or subject to vandalism. The highways service is looking to maintain an up to date asset of all grit bins and replace broken bins prior to the upcoming winter, this exercise would be to capture data for each bin including an image and also providing GIS co-ordinates for each bin so these can then be plotted on internal software for display on MySandwell (internet based reporting tool) and asset inventory software. This would also help to make re-filling during the winter season more efficient.
