description

Following a supplier (third party) information audit report for UKAEA, they identified the need for UKAEA to have a very structured Information Architecture, to train the IAOs and educate them on the best practice for managing UKAEA information / assets. In that regards, UKAEA has decided to engage a supplier that will design and implement information Architecture for the Authority.

The Authority requires the delivery of an Information Architecture design and its implementation. The Supplier will take a lead role in engaging with IAOs, organise workshops and feedback to the Authority on their findings and a way forward.

The objectives for the proposed solution are:

To know where to keep information and what repositories to use.
Ability to work more efficiently (encouraging reuse, avoiding replication, etc.)
To provide assurance that information management risks are being mitigated and that relevant legislation and regulations are being met.
To know which information asset(s) to keep and what to dispose of.
