Torbay Council has seed funding from Coastal Communities Fund to create a series of new signature events which have the capacity to become cost neutral after Year 1.
In this instance, the Authority is seeking an organisation or co-ordinator to deliver and programme music and arts events across Torquay under one umbrella and brand of Rising Tides Festival (working title) for the weekend of 8 – 9 April 2017.
Other events include the new Torbay Air Show and a Christmas Event. The aim of the events is to attract new visitors to Torbay.
