description
In order to support Waverley Borough Council & Farnham Town Council to ensure that Farnham maintains its position as a thriving community and town. The aim is to enable Farnham and Wrecclesham residents to be able to live, move and work in ways that promote health and wellbeing, safeguard the environment and enhance economic prosperity by:
- i.Developing and delivering a long term plan to rethink the town centre to accommodate planned developments and tackle the long standing issues around pollution/ air quality and traffic congestion.
- ii.Addressing long standing issues of congestion, road safety and severance problems caused by the A31 Farnham Bypass.
- iii.Develop options to address long standing issues of congestion, road safety and severance problems that affect Wrecclesham village on a daily basis, including reviewing the Wrecclesham Relief Road proposals.
Direct award process undertaken under the ESPO Framework 664-17 Consultancy Services - Lot 5 Highways, Transport and Logistics to procure a single consultant.
