description

Wolverhampton City Council are currently converting 27,750 of its streetlights to low energy LED luminaires as part of the ERDF (EU) Smart Digital Infrastructure project.

The purpose of this Preliminary Market Engagement (PME) is to seek input from potential suppliers within the market, to establish how the Council can procure a Central Management System (CMS) with the primary function of remote monitoring and control of the streetlights, whilst exploring added value and ensuring future proofing for smart city development.

The PME will provide an opportunity for Wolverhampton City Council (WCC) to obtain insight into how potential suppliers might approach the design and supply of the system and gain an understanding into the likely level of interest from the market.
