Shoreline Housing Insurance Renewal 2016

Shoreline Housing Partnership Ltd is a registered provider of affordable housing. Shoreline owns and manages nearly 8000 homes in North East Lincolnshire. Further information on our organisation can be found at www.shorelinehp.com.

Shoreline is seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of Insurance Services.

The Contract will be for a period of 3 years with no options for extension and the annual renewal will be dependent upon satisfactory performance in relation to claims handling and response times.

During the period of this Contract, Shoreline will be carrying out a program of disinvestment, and therefore specific property related risks will be removed at various times throughout the contract and suitable adjustments to the premiums will need to be agreed as they occur.

Some properties currently covered under our insurance arrangements will be demolished during this contract. Specifically Comber Place in Grimsby is expected to be demolished in April 2016, and the East Marsh high rise blocks (x6) will be demolished soon after. Suitable security arrangements will be in place to protect the buildings once empty.

The Contract will commence in 1st April 2016.
