The Council provides consultancy services, such as quality assurance, monitoring and specialised services to its maintained schools, including primary and nursery schools broadly defined as. The Council may also wish to commission consultancy to support it's School Improvement service and the Education Directorate

These consultancy services:

• oContribute towards the Council meeting their statutory duties.
• oDevelop a motivated and skilled workforce.
• oImprove outcomes for pupils and teachers.
• oEnsures that- staff working across these workforces have the capacity and capability to undertake the work that is required by them to deliver services to the West Sussex community.

The Council is looking to set up a Preferred supplier list for these services.
