description

The purpose of this Contract is to facilitate supply of electricity to Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust (The Trust)'s half hourly & non-half hourly meters via the NHS England (NHSE) basket via Lot 1 (Supply of Energy - Electricity and Additional Services) of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6251 Supply of Energy 2 Framework (The Framework).

The objective is to enable the Trust to secure electricity sufficiently in advance of the required delivery period, enabling it to satisfy electricity demand over and above electricity generated on site via the combined heat and power system.

The Contract has been procured based on annual half hourly consumption of 34m kwh and non-half hourly consumption of 100,000kwh.

The contract may be extended up 31 March 2030 and values stated may increase as a result of this and/or changes in wholesale commodity costs and/or increases/decreases in electricity consumption (E.g. as a result of a new building coming online following a separate building project).
