description
Given a growing interest by industry and consumers alike for online games, the metaverse, and immersive experiences Ofcom will undertake a project to map the journey of users, platform workflows, and architectures of current interactive services.
This work will focus on interactive services where user-to-user interaction is sufficient to result in a risk for harm, primarily related to online gaming services that present vectors for harm, for example capabilities relating to user-to-user interaction, channels for communication, user generation of content and spaces, or where interaction and/or immersion constitutes implications for further harm.
