Cash Collection Services at English Heritage Properties - AWARD

English Heritage is looking to procure a provider of secure cash in transit and associated services.

The contract has been divided into regional lots. Bidders may bid for one or more lots (including for all lots)

The nature of our business requires a seasonal approach to service delivery and quality. A variable collection schedule will be required to reflect the number of visitors to the individual attractions and the amount of cash requiring collection. The Service provider will need to provide service excellence against agreed service schedules. The Service Provider will collect cash from multiple sites managed by English Heritage and securely process it into the English Heritages Bank account (the bank is HSBC.)

When processing cash into the Bank, the Service Provider shall adhere to the Banks cash processing conditions. Approximately 70% of the sites require services throughout the year, with the remainder only requiring servicing between April and October each year. Approximately 75% of sites will require a change delivery service.

English Heritage expects, as a result of this tendering exercise, to appoint a Service Provider, or Service Providers for its cash-in-transit and processing requirements (cash collection and processing). It is expected that the Service Provider(s) will collect cash from the multiple sites and, on the same day, securely process into a bulk cash processing centre approved by the HSBC Bank. When processing cash into the HSBC cash collection centre, the Service Provider shall adhere strictly to all relevant conditions imposed by the bank.

The contract will commence on 1st April 2015 and finish on 31 March 2018. There will be the option to extend for two further one year periods
