The maximum order value for each job to be procured through this framework is £250.00 (except on a very limited occasion where a one off quote could reach £500.00 but these are rare) with the majority being around £100.00. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THESE VALUES ARE SUITABLE FOR YOUR ORGANISATIONS SIZE AND NATURE OF BUSINESS BEFORE SUBMITTING A QUOTE. Bradford Council is seeking tenders from General Building & Construction Contractors who are interested in gaining approval onto a framework agreement to carry out minor works in clients own homes prior to hospital discharge. Works will be in occupied, domestic premises (usually owner occupier or privately rented homes) at different individual addresses across the Bradford District. The successful contractors will be invited to provide minor works for hospital discharge to NHS and the Council's client's, the purpose is to ensure a client following clinical hospital discharge assessment is provided with the appropriate clinical resources to help aid independence in their own home as opposed to hospitalisation. The requirements of this framework have been formulated on behalf of Bradford Council and Health; requirements may be requested from other departments within Bradford Council and Health. To collect from Bradford & Airedale Community Equipment Service (BACES), pieces of equipment to fit/fix (unless otherwise instructed) in clients own home, following clinical assessment for hospital discharge. The clinician will write a referral and specification/drawing signifying fit/fix position in client's home for the successful contractor(s). The works required are small jobs and examples of the typical works that this framework will cover are:- To collect/supply/repair/secure and or fix minor works requested from clinical staff, following clinical assessment on expected hospital discharge of the client. Carried out in the clients own home, within the surrounding District of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, which may include a variety and number of different tasks depending on the clients needs following hospital discharge.
