WSCC - Market Engagement for Older People Accommodation Based Care Services

West Sussex County Council's Adult Social Care Commissioning Team would like to invite you to a market engagement event for older people accommodation based care services, specifically extra care housing and older people's residential and nursing care.

A key objective in our new Commissioning Strategy is working with stakeholders on shaping future services for West Sussex residents. The developing market position statement provides an opportunity to look at current and projected needs and supply of services and to shape the future of accommodation based provision with you.

Come along to hear more about the Council's strategic priorities for residential and nursing care and for extra care housing in the future, and for an opportunity to feed into the vision with your insights and experiences. We anticipate this event will be of interest to potential developers, accommodation planners and provider service owners/directors.

The event will be held on Wednesday the 17th of April 2024 at Field Place, Worthing, West Sussex BN13 1NP with a 1.30pm start (with teas and coffee available from 1.15pm) and 4pm finish.

We are also keen to hear from people who may wish to showcase plans and innovative practice in services in West Sussex to present on the day. Please do inform us in your acceptance of the invitation if you would be interested in sharing your service examples in this way.
