description
Barnet Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisation to bid for the delivery of a consultant led community adult service for Ears, Nose and Throat (ENT), Ear wax removal and Audiology service. This will serve as an alternative to hospital based treatment for patients being referred by General Practitioners (GPs) for ENT, Ear wax removal and Audiology assessments and/or treatment. The commissioners require an excellent high quality patient centred community triage and treatment service which raises the standard of care, is easily accessible and has well designed pathways. This service is expected to have patients treated safely, quickly and close to home within a ‘one stop shop’ service model where applicable.
The overall aim is to provide:
| • | An innovative and improved service. |
| • | Seamless, timely and co-ordinated pathways across primary and secondary care |
| • | A holistic patient centred service |
| • | One stop shop where applicable |
Patients registered with a Barnet GP will benefit from co-located services across all sites, enabling patients to move seamlessly between the various service elements that they need in a single visit. The three components of the service must be delivered alongside each other at a minimum of two locations, one being Edgware Community Hospital and the other Finchley Memorial Hospital. The provider can opt to provide the service from an additional site/sites of their choice. This would vastly improve the patient experience, improve continuity of care and be a better, more effective use of resources.
