The University of Hull seeking to procure a supplier for the supply of cleaning consumables and chemicals across the campus. The University will procure the supply of the products by a Competitive Dialogue following the Public Contracts Regulations and those of the European Union (OJEU). The contract will be managed in three Lots and the University seeks a contractor who will provide the most economically advantageous solution for each Lot. The University will award two or more Lots to one contractor when there is an economically advantageous case for doing so. The University of Hull currently uses a number of cleaning consumables, paper products and chemicals. These products are used across the campus and have a range of differing uses, they are current used in many different facilities ranging from; retail, catering, accommodation services, sports facilities and academic/student facilities. Therefore, some of the products used are specific to a specified area, whereas some products are more generally used.
The University requires equivalent or alternative products which have the same cleaning qualities as the products currently used. It would welcome innovative and environmentally friendly solutions in order to enhance the service we provide where a clear benefit can be derived.
