KMCPRP-077 - Upperhead Row Multi Storey Car Park Decks 5 & 6 Resurfacing, Huddersfield

Tenders are invited by The Council of the Borough of Kirklees (the Council) from Contractors with relevant experience and ability to demonstrate sufficient capacity for concrete repair and car park deck waterproofing resurfacing (the Works) at Upperhead Row Multi Storey Car Park (MSCP), Huddersfield. The work comprises the machine grinding, shop-blast cleaning and mechanical preparation of deck and ramp surfaces, up-stands and edge; removal of defective concrete and the execution of concrete repairs, repair, apply sealant and make good the joint of upstand and parapet panel: replace the top movement joints of decks; and replace the bottom movement joints of decks (provisional); laying polymer modified screed; laying waterproofing coating to deck and ramp surfaces; applying anti-carbonation coating to up-stands and touch up to parapet panels; line markings and ancillary works to decks 5 and 6 and link ramps from decks 4 to 6. The Contractor shall note that the Car Park Decks 1 to 4 are to remain fully operational during the course of the contract. The Contractor must provide an effective traffic management plan including material delivery, waste disposal and the like to ensure that car park users suffer minimum disruption during the course of the works.
