GB-Colchester: Ancillary Refurbishments Charter Hall

Colchester Borough Council (the Council) intends to commission a Contractor to undertake works for Charter Hall that provide an aesthetic upgrade to areas both internally and externally but excluding the Main Hall. The external works include removal of existing fire escape staircase to front entrance area, blocking up of existing fire exit, installation of new entrance canopy, upgrade to existing entrance doors, and installation of new illuminated signage to high level and low level entrance signage. Internal works focus on the cosmetic upgrade of a number of areas including the main hallway, Male, Female and Accessible WC's, the Charter Hall Lobby, backstage area, 2 x dressing rooms, backstage kitchen and backstage WC's. These works include renewal of the existing flooring finishes, redecoration of various areas, renewal of existing suspended ceilings, and upgrade to existing lighting to LED recessed grid lighting.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
