description

The Councils are looking to introduce a new grant scheme to specifically target existing food, farming and rural-based businesses. The grant will be open to existing microbusinesses (fewer than 10 employees), small businesses (fewer than 250 employees) and social enterprises.

We are looking to identify a delivery partner who will be required to develop, implement and monitor this new grant scheme. One local authority partner will be selected to lead the legal work required to prepare a contract of services or standard terms and conditions.

The REPF prospectus states that Councils should consider how any investments from the Fund contribute to nature recovery and Net Zero objectives, including reaching Net Zero by 2050, resilience to natural hazards and the 25 Year Environment Plan. Each project supported by the REPF will be assessed for its climate and ecological emergency impact. This should be included in the application form, bid evaluation criteria and monitoring.
