UK Film Centre Events Curator, Cannes Film Festival (2017 Edition) - Invitation to Quote

We wish to engage the services of a Film Industry Events Curator for the purpose of creating a series of events at the UK Film Centre at Cannes Film Festival, 2017.

The UK Film Centre is the official UK presence at Cannes, located in the International Village, and hosting a variety of panels, events, functions and welcoming thousands of visitors from around the world. It acts as a brand ambassador for UK film, representing creative excellence in British film and signalling the UK's openness to international collaboration in all its forms.

The target audience is International and UK based senior film professionals.

The Curator will formulate and implement the events strategy, working with the BFI and its partners to create:

• a)meaningful, compelling and high quality content which illumines and encourages UK - international collaboration in film, and;
• b)to oversee a number of private events for UK and International industry to engage with each other, in consultation with the BFI.
• c)the events to take place from Friday 19 May through Tuesday 23 May 2017, precise number to be determined in consultation with the BFI.

This is an Invitation to Quote and the deadline for submissions is 12:00 (Midday) on Monday 6th March 2017
