- The Youth Empowerment commissioning programme is part of the Council's approach to ensuring that Newham is the best place for young people to grow up.
- The Council has a funding pot of up to £80,000 to disperse amongst providers in the Borough.
- To ensure that there are is an equitable spread of activities for young people borough wide funding for summer projects is to be awarded across the Borough
- Providers will be required to provide positive activities for young people over the six-week holiday period. All activities will be subject to contract monitoring and success assessed against a published set of key performance indicators.
