Roofing Project

Westward Housing Group wish to appoint a single contractor for a 3 year contract with the option to extend by 2x 1 year, JCT Measured Term Contract, for roof replacement and repair works to social housing.

The sites vary from individual flats and terrace houses, to large blocks. Works include complete flat roof replacement, pitched roof replacement (both tile and slate), rainwater goods, fascia cladding, chimney repairs, removal and reinstatement of flues and general roof repairs. The contractor is to act as Main Contractor for the works and to undertake the works in their entirety. All aspects of design, access and health and safety will be the responsibility of the contractor.

The first year of works incorporates up to 70 roofs. The contractor is to ensure that they are capable of delivering this quantity of works across the entire South West region.

Westward Housing Group reserve the right to tender any packages of work. The contract will be reviewed against performance annually.

The works are estimated to be in the region of £500K per annum.
