IT Data Cabling

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Provider (the Provider) to undertake structured data and voice cabling works to support the Council's existing and future, copper and fibre infrastructure. The Council has buildings across the Bradford district including the towns of Bingley, Ilkley, Keighley, Shipley and a number of sites beyond the district. The installations can take place in any of the Council buildings. The Council is looking for fixed rate pricing for Basic Works which will be undertaken during normal working hours Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm across the district. The Provider will be expected to familiar with working in environments including office accommodation, schools, leisure centres, museums and libraries. In these environments the Provider will be presented with both suspended and solid ceiling arrangement types. On occasion, the Provider will be required to execute works outside the Basic Works scenarios. Full details of the requirement will be provided and Pricing will be requested but could include work on listed buildings, cabling between buildings and external or roof top work. The Provider cannot use Subcontractors to perform the works unless by prior approval of the Council.
