GDPR Information Governance Officer KB

A GDPR/ Information Governance Officer is required to start asap for a period of 3 months to begin with. The role will primarily be based at Sandwell Council House in Oldbury however will requires candidates to be willing to travel around the borough. This is a full time 37 hour post. The role will involve supporting the GDPR and NHS toolkit project delivery and activities required to adequately provide responses within statutory timeframes to Freedom of Information Requests, Subject Access Requests, Data Breaches and any other related administrative, project or investigative tasks as directed by the Data Protection Officer. Candidates need to have experience of the following: - Experience of advising on and implementing GDPR - Experience of advising on FOls, SARs and data breaches - Project delivery experience essential - Experience of working with and advising senior management and elected members - Ability to work on own initiative and be pro-active when addressing issues -Experience of Records Management -Experience of Retention Schedules A temporary worker is required to assist with and support our compliance with statutory obligations to respond to FOls and SARs. We require support to ensure that the information management project meets targets and expectations. Interviews to take place asap. See JD and PS attached.

Pay rate for this role is £18.09 per hour PAYE.
