Both Lots will provide a comprehensive range of products to include devices suitable for use in Acute and Community settings, disposable devices, gauze dressings, foam dressings, canisters (of various sizes), tubing and drapes, and other products that can be properly described as NPWT. The scope of the framework will also include maintenance, training and clinical/technical support.

The product offering will include:

Service & Maintenance

All tenderers are required to submit an offering for all three product groups to be eligible for award onto either Lot.

Lot 2 (GPO (Open) Committed Exercise with Defined Trusts) will be a contract to be accessed by the Participating Authorities listed below, who have aggregated their spend and will contractually commit to purchasing a specified value and/or volume of their requirements for a minimum period of 24 months to drive price efficiencies pursuant to this Lot.

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust
Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospital NHS Trust
The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust
Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust

each a “Participating Authority” and together the “Participating Authorities”.

Additional Beneficiaries may be added to Lot 2 after commencement of the initial contract. Should Tenderers wish to be considered for Lot 2, a separate response should be submitted in addition to a response for Lot 1. Lot 2 shall be awarded to the Successful Tenderer whose bid for Lot 2 is the most economically advantageous.
