Primary Care Mental Health Service Ref 15.234

Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group wishes to re-procure the contract provision of community based psychological therapies (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies also known as IAPT), primary care mental health services and a range of complementary services that support an individual to look after their mental wellbeing.

The purpose of the Request for Information (RFI) document is to collect information that will help commissioners define the service that will be commissioned by engaging with Providers and seeking their views. The RFI also contains information about the service required.

Providers are asked to review the information provided in the RFI document and to feed back comments. Please submit your completed RFI responses no later than 29th January 2016 by email to sarah.murphy20@nhs.net

The Commissioning Managers are also available to be contacted by telephone and details can be found within the RFI document.

The Commissioner will be holding a market engagement event on 26th February 2016. Please refer to the RFI document for further information and complete the registration form (within the RFI) which must be returned to the Commissioner to register your wish to attend.

This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information gathering exercise offering an opportunity for all providers to help inform commissioning intentions. This process will assist the Commissioner when considering an appropriate route to commission the service. A new advertisement will be published should procurement be the chosen route in the future.

Providers who are interested in seeking sub or main contractor relationships with other providers, are offered the opportunity to indicate their wish to do so by completing the Information Exchange Opportunity form (see attachment) and submitting it using the return details shown within the RFI document.
