description

Doorstep Green is an open space on which there is a fenced teen area within the site on Verwood Road Three Legged Cross. The area is fenced and gated and is in a lovely setting with many trees around the area. There is a pathway next to the teen area.

Verwood Town Council wishes to remove the existing equipment and safer surfacing replacing this teen area. In addition to this the site does suffer from poor drainage with water pooling around the current equipment so provision will be required to eliminate this.

Access to all areas of the site for the purpose of providing these works and facilities is restricted and can only be taken via Furzelands Road through the Three Legged Cross Recreation Ground. There is an access gate from Verwood Road, investigation will have to be made which would be the better access. The Council is open to proposals for the replacement of the Teen Area. Its choice of contractor will be influenced by both the quality and price of the proposals which it receives. The Town Council are responsible for other areas and are looking for different and exciting equipment.

Because of the nature of the site and constraints of the site access the Contractor will be responsible for the whole of the works described.
