RUG - Hollowell Way hard and soft landscaping

Rugby Borough Council are looking for a contractor to carry out hard and soft landscaping to refurbish the existing children’s play area and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) within Public Open Space off Hollowell Way, Rugby as part of phased works. The works include:

• Removal of chain‐link fencing to existing MUGA
• Removal of steel bow top fencing to existing play area
• Removal of existing play equipment and site furniture
• Removal of existing safety surfacing to include rubber mats and timber edging, and rubber wet pour with concrete edging
• Surface planing existing tarmac paving in preparation for new tarmac overlay
• New tarmac paving, pre‐cast concrete edging, and thermoplastic linemarking
• Installation of new safer surfacing to include rubber mulch wet pour, interlocking PVC grass mats and play sand with timber edging
• Construction of log retaining wall
• Installation of new play equipment and sports system
• Installation of new site furniture
