Gloucester City Council ("Authority") are seeking to obtain consultancy services for the delivery of a Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan, and Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment. The aim of this tender is to source a consultant who will provide, in collaboration with Authority officers, a comprehensive, public-facing, evidence-based Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan that is aligned with Gloucester City Council's stated commitments to net zero emissions across its own functions by 2030 and working towards net zero emissions across the wider district by 2045. Further, the consultant will be required to deliver, also in collaboration with Authority officers, a Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment and accompanying actions to expand the evidence base upon which the Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan is based.
