description
This opportunity is for the appointment of a project partner to deliver an implementation phase for a Viet Nam Centre of Excellence for Offshore Wind.
Following the success of the initial scoping exercise for a delivered earlier this year, this funding will deliver the next phase of the project. Building on the collaborative partnerships established in the first phase, the delivery partner will be expected to develop international and local partnerships further, as well as identifying (and securing) a sustainable option for the longevity of the CoE. This will include activities such as: (a) developing a proposal for implementation; (b) finalising/securing project owners and managers; and (c) delivering an initial core set of activities in support of objectives laid out in the scoping study for capacity building, RD&D and skills & training.
The exact scope of the implementation phase is to be determined by the supplier in partnership with the international community within Viet Nam and outside, as well as HMG, whilst providing value for money.
