Description

Replacement of 6No. barrel vault rooflights with lantern lights to the roof of the Mumford Building, and associated internal works to the third floor of the library.

Description: The works include but are limited to:

• oDetailed design and calculations of scaffolding for independent checking by structural engineer.

• oErection of scaffolding and protective sheeting/ barriers in accordance with specialist design.

• oInstallation of internal protective measures.

• oSupply and installation of new rooflights, including increasing height of existing curb.

• oSupply and installation of additional felt waterproofing to perimeter of rooflights.

• oMaking good and redecoration of internal face of rooflight linings.

• oAll associated builders, mechanical and electrical works.
