description
Islington CCG are looking to procure an experienced ‘Individual Placement and Support Provider’ (IPS) to deliver a 24 month trial across Primary and Community Care Services in Islington. This trial forms part of an overall programme of work being undertaken in relation to Health and Employment in Islington approved by the Health and Wellbeing Board in July 2015 (full details here: -

The trial is seeking to test the effectiveness of the IPS model when applied in a primary and community care setting for people who are unemployed due to a health condition and/ or disability. The service provider will need to be recognised by the Centre for Mental Health as either an existing or emerging ‘Centre of Excellence’ in the delivery of the IPS model and be able to demonstrate high fidelity to the IPS model. The service provider will be expected to work with people with a range of health conditions (both physical and mental health conditions) and / or disabilities in a range of healthcare settings.
NHS England will be commissioning an independent evaluation of the trial and the provider will be expected to work with the evaluators to ensure that the service delivery model supports the trial requirements and evaluation process.
The service provider will also be expected to be a key partner in the Islington Health and Employment programme.
We would like to invite all interested and suitable providers to a market engagement event in order to inform the service specification.
This event will be held on Tuesday 19th January 2016 from 14.00 until 17.00 at Islington Council’s offices at 7 Newington Barrow Way, Finsbury Park, N7 7EP.
