CBC-1388-LV-RM Replacement shop front, 6 Hilborough Crescent - AWARD

Central Bedfordshire Council has appointed UK Shopfronts and Glazing to carry out Replacement Shopfront, 6Hilborough Crescent CBC-1388-LV-RM

Carefully remove the existing shop front and cart away, all waste to be removed and disposal to a licensed waste site, allow for all necessary protective works to the existing shop area during the removal and installation. Allow for any necessary protective screen to carry out the works including the new installation to provide efficient protection to the public and unauthorised persons from entering the works area and to contain all working practices and materials to within the area. The existing roller shutter to be retained and be protected during the works.

Supply and install new aluminium profile frame powder coating to all profiles, RAL colour to be navy blue with double glazed unit using 10.8mm laminated safety glass, glazing to be BS6206 Class A - PVB Laminated or Toughened glass. With single double-glazed door, concealed door closer in transom, anti-finger trap door stile, Functional 99 Pad Handle to both sides, letterbox at bottom of door, low/level threshold and Europrofile Deadlock 52220 Series with europrofile deadlock cylinder, Alpro Architectural Hardware, 41 Harwell Road, Nuffield Industrial Estate, Poole, Dorset BH17 0BD. Allow for designs to be approved by client and in accordance with planning drawings attached, drawing no. 22003wd2.02.

Glazing must be capable of taking transfers to 100% of the glass area without causing heat stress. The whole of the glazing needs to be suitable to take 100% transfer application without cracking the glass. The contractor shall do a full assessment of the type of glass to ensure that no cracking occurs when transfers are applied.
