description
Oxford City Council wishes to award a contract to a single supplier (contractor) for Development Management Services. The contract will require the agent to provide;
| • | Architect and design services (including all necessary feasibility and survey work) |
| • | Project Management (including cost management, employers agent and clerk of works) |
| • | Management of the planning process to obtain permissions |
| • | Tender and procurement for a construction partner who delivers modern methods of construction. Of particular interest for this pilot scheme is volumetric offsite manufacture. |
| • | Construction contract management. |
In addition the supplier will test the feasibility and value for money of contracting with Oxford Direct Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Council to carry out the installation of the homes.
