Bulk Rubbish Collection

The Contractor will be required to provide a bulk rubbish collection service from Affinity Sutton housing estates and other sites when items have been ‘fly-tipped’ or dumped and that are not going to be collected by local authorities. This service will include the collection of the following items which may have been left on our land:

• Furniture including cookers/fridges/freezers/mattresses/sofa’s etc
• Bric-a-brac
• General bulky household waste
• Gas bottles
• Paint cans
• Garden refuse
• DIY and building materials
• Tyres including tuck and tractor tyres
• Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) items.
• Collections may include domestic refuse which may from time to time be unbagged, potentially hazardous materials like foodstuffs including raw meat/fish, sharps or other clinical, biological or medical waste. Provision also needs to be made for removal of toxic substances, noxious chemicals and solvents.

The contractor will provide photographic evidence and management information to show the type of material collected, methods of disposal and a breakdown of costs.
