description
SCH is looking to appoint a suitable contractor to undertake tarmac and resurfacing works to housing curtilage areas; these will include, but not be limited to:
- Pathways
- Garage Sites
- Communal Drying Areas
- Parking Bays / Driveways
The appointed Contractor will be required to carry out works on a programmed and ad-hoc basis over the contract period.
The appointed Contractor will be expected to collaborate with SCH in the delivery of social value initiatives where appropriate.
SCH anticipates that the Contract shall commence August 2018 and the proposed term of the Contract will be for an initial period up until 31st March 2021; with an option to extend this period by a further 2 years, subject to performance.
The contract value for the initial contract period is estimated to be in the region of £580,000; should the optional contract extension be taken-up then the total contract value is estimated to be in the region of £900,000.
Tender Process:
The successful contractor is to be selected through a formal tender process.
SCH has set the following minimum criteria; any Tenderer who fails to meet the criteria will not be considered for the award of this Contract:
Economic and Financial:
- Tendering organisations must have, based on the last 3 full accounting periods, a minimum average annual turnover of £360,000.
- Tendering organisations must provide to SCH when requested, any financial information as may be deemed necessary to demonstrate their economic and financial standing and ability to deliver and complete the Contract.
Experience:
- Tendering organisations must have recent experience (over the past 3 years) of successfully delivering contracts of this nature, in terms of similar size, value and scope.
- Tendering organisations must provide to SCH when requested, any information as may be deemed necessary to demonstrate their experience and ability to deliver the Contract to a high standard.
Too participate in the procurement process, organisations need to express an interest in this tender and complete the enclosed set of tender documents in accordance with the instructions provided.
The closing date for the submission of completed tender documents is no later than 12.00 noon on Thursday 7 June 2018.
