description

-Work up successful landowner agreement process that is relevant to PSDCF and targeted land owners and land uses in area of PSDCF. This will involve:
oEnsuring that any offer mets the Terms and Conditions coming from the Grant Awarding body (DEFRA via Cheshire West Council),
oreviewing existing woodland creation offers available to landowners (e.g. EWCO, other woodland creation partnerships),
oassessing cash flow from CF and landowner perspectives and linking this with work on wider finance modelling for PSDCF (NB specialist finance support will be in place to collaborate on this)
orunning two consultation events and subsequent exercise, for PCSDCF to enable schemes to be developed in a timely way for year 2 planting pipeline. (8 hours per week)
-Develop and expand on current year 2 (22/23) planting pipeline of 100ha by working with landowners and partners to identify:
onew opportunities for tree planting schemes
odeveloping existing schemes including land owner agreements,
oplanting plans,
oEIA and regulatory requirements
olist of trees reservation of stock ready for procurement.

-High level project management support for delivery of year 1 21/22 PSDCF tree planting pipeline (3 hours per week) including:
oCo-ordination of project programme with project board
obudget management of programme,
oupdating risk register
oreporting progress with tree planting programme
oSupporting Head of Environment Planning to meet Community Forest Trust (CFT) reporting requirements and manage budgets.
oSupporting Green Estate team to meet the year 1 planting programme as needed, including contributing to the planning and delivery of community engagement
  • Attendance at meetings as part of the Project Delivery Team (2 hours per week)
