Organisations must register their interest against the advert on the South East Business Portal in order to receive any changes or notifications issued by the Council during this tender process.
The Council wishes to procure a provider for a Short Breaks Service. Provision of short breaks for carers is a statutory duty. Targeted schemes form part of the Council's Tier 2 provision and support the early intervention work for children and young people (up to the age of 18) with disabilities, including complex needs, and their families.
The contract will be divided and commissioned in two lots; each lot providing for one age range. Prospective tenderers will be able to bid for one or both lots.
Contract award value based on maximum term of five years.
Additional information: The contract duration will be for a maximum of five years, covering an initial period of three years plus 2 optional extensions, each of one year i.e. 3 + 1 + 1.
